Graduated from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong in 2005. Jacmila won an excellent award granted by a famous Japanese underwear brand and first running of New Town Mall in 2007. In 2009, Jacmila took her own path in art and design. Her work includes children’s book illustration, poster and Mural painting. She exhibited in HK international Printing and Packaging Fair 2009, “<5.12> Si Chuan Earth Quake anniversary” at APM, “Take a Break with Art” at City Walk and “Art Jamming Exhibition” at China Hong Kong City. In 2010, Jacmila was invited by Urban Renewal Authority to do a mural painting called “Central Oasis” at Central Market.And her first storybook – “Dream of Ballet” was released in May. Jacmila is the most popular writers for children in 2010, her book - “Dream of Ballet” was one of the top ten books of all primary. Her recent clients are include: Sino Group, China Hong Kong City, Olympian City, The Sincere Co. Ltd., Mi Ming Mart, La Coupe in Princes Building etc.

My Design Philosophy
Jacmila’s works were greatly influenced by Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Gustav Klimt. Music is also one of the important elements inspires her to draw picture. There are lot of decorative lines, which show rhythm and melody, to represent plant, flower and the beauty of nature. She is an artist who loves drawing pictures to express her joyful feeling and to share her positive views to people in each of illustration. The smiling face of figures shows the beauty and love of human, such as friendship, family and also our lovely city. She would love to praises the creator of our universe and blesses each person through each hand-drawing line and each of the figure in her works.
